It is with great sadness that we must now record the passing of Stan Streather, the man behind "Winstan", on 11th May 2025.

Stan spent some 12 years portraying Sir Winston Churchill, which he always felt was a great privilege. He has had the opportunity to work at many different places, and with many different people and has always performed to the best of his ability. He has always enjoyed meeting people and always done his best to talk to people in whatever location he found himself. The great love and affection shown to Stan during his life was wonderfully evident at his funeral services held on 29th May. Both his own church, St Dunstan’s in Cranford Park, and the South West Middlesex Crematorium were full to overflowing with his family, friends and colleagues showing their respects for Stan and the life he had led. Stan had a great faith and was very confident about where he was going next. We all wish him well on his new adventure. Thank you so much to everyone who has worked with Stan in the past, he really did enjoy every minute.
